BAKING INSTRUCTIONS

Thanks so much for purchasing from our TAKE AND BAKERY.  Love goes into each and every one of our dishes, and below we'll document the baking instructions to get the most out of each dish.

Cinnamon Rolls

  • If frozen, we recommend moving them to a refrigerator the night before you plan to bake them.
  • You'll want to allow the cinnamon rolls to come to room temperature in order to let the rise.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 325.
  • Remove the plastic wrap from the Cinnamon Roll Tray
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes.
  • NOTE -- ovens vary in temp and effectiveness, our rule for these cinnamon rolls is "LOW and SLOW" (which was Chris' nickname in high school)

Frozen Pecan Pie

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Remove plastic wrap from the pie tray.
  • Cover pie with aluminum foil.
  • Place pie atop a cookie sheet (to prevent bubble over)
  • Bake pie at 425 for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 375 and bake pie for an additional 45-65 minutes, or until center is a bit bubbly.
  • Let pie cool for at least one hour.
  • NOTE: Removing the foil for the last 10 minutes of cook time will help caramelize the top of the pie.

Frozen Fruit Pies (Apple, Blueberry)

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Remove all plastic wrap from the pie.
  • Place the pie on a cookie sheet (to prevent bubble over)
  • Bake pie at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce temperature to 375 degrees and bake pie for an additional 30 to 45 minutes or until the center is bubbly.
  • Let cool for about an hour.

Cobblers

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Remove any plastic wrap from the tray
  • Cover the tray with aluminum foil
  • Bake at 350 for 45 mins to 1 hour

After much thought (and plenty of waffling), we've decided it's time to close up the shop and hit pause on the food truck for the rest of 2025.

Serving this community and building a successful and thriving business that brough whimsey and fun to so many people has been one of the great joys of our lives.

From our Farmers Market regulars, to Waffle Wednesday crowd, to the take and bakers, THANK YOU! Truly.

For now, we are closed for business for food truck and catering through the end of 2025.

We will be available for Take and Bake options - so contact us on Facebook or Insta!
